How to Check a Claim

  1. Is the source a regulator, cancer institute, guideline, systematic review, primary paper, trial registry, or a commercial page?
  2. Does it name the cancer type, stage, biomarker, treatment line, and population?
  3. Does it separate animal/cell-line results from patient outcomes?
  4. Does it discuss harms and uncertainty?
  5. Does it link to the original evidence?
